LOCTITE EA 9480

LOCTITE EA 9480 is a two-component, room temperature curing epoxy adhesive for use in food contact applications. It has a medium cure speed and, when cured, good resistance to chemicals.
Typical applications for LOCTITE EA 9480 include bonding metal and/or plastic parts in food processing and packaging equipment, as well as household appliances such as mixers, pasta machines, and microwave ovens. In these applications, the adhesive is usually located between the surfaces to be bonded, so that direct contact of the adhesive with food is not intended, but unintentional contact with the applied adhesive is possible at the bond line.
