LOCTITE 243

LOCTITE® 243 is a blue, general-purpose, medium-strength threadlocker. It provides excellent adhesion to metals without the use of an activator, even on passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and coated surfaces. It is therefore suitable for most as-received, oiled fasteners without prior cleaning.
