BJZ access control system
Description:
Three-arm barrier
Details:
BJZ access control systems are used to check and ensure that employees are equipped in accordance with standards. This ensures that only employees with functional personnel grounding enter the EPA.
Three-arm barrier: This type of access barrier is ideal for separating individuals.
How it works:
A BJZ shoe testing station is integrated into the housing of the three-arm barrier. By pressing a button, both ESD shoes are measured individually via shoe measuring electrodes in the base plate. The result is indicated acoustically and via a light strip.
Entrance:
The barrier arm is activated by the user applying light pressure after it has been cleared by the measuring device. An alarm sounds if an attempt is made to pass without a prior clearance signal.
Exit:
Barrier arms can be rotated freely. Pictograms indicate the respective directions of travel at both the entrance and exit. The system has a function that automatically folds down the horizontal barrier arm when the power is off. When the power is on, the barrier arm is automatically returned to its position. The automatic folding down function can serve both as a safety feature and as a way of ensuring a higher throughput of people, for example at the end of the working day.
Technical data:
- Total barrier width: approx. 900 mm
- Clear passage width: approx. 515 mm
- Throughput: up to 20 people/min.
- Supply voltage: 220-230 V / 50 Hz
- Power consumption: approx. 25 W
- Housing: brushed stainless steel
- Measuring voltage: 27 volts
- Measuring ranges: adjustable between 0.05 and 100 MOhm
- Operation: with left or right hand
