Overview
Instant adhesive LOCTITE 3090
The instant adhesive Loctite 3090 is a 2-component instant adhesive from Henkel in a double syringe. The Loctite 3090 adhesive is suitable for bonding components that have different and undefined adhesive gaps of up to 5 mm (0.2″). Loctite 3090 instant adhesive is also suitable for applications where complete curing of excess adhesive is required.
Loctite 3090 instant adhesive is the right choice when a repair needs to be done quickly, for example in an emergency.
Thanks to its gel-like consistency, Loctite 3090 does not run off even on vertical surfaces.
Loctite 3090 has excellent adhesion to the following materials:

It is best to use Loctite 3090 with the LOCTITE 3090 mixing nozzle (LOCTITE static mixer for Loctite 3090 and Loctite HY 4070) to mix the two components properly and achieve the best application results.

Structural adhesive LOCTITE HY 4070
The Loctite HY 4070 structural adhesive from Henkel is also a 2-component adhesive in a double cartridge, but not an instant adhesive in the true sense of the word. However, it is also a fast-curing adhesive.
Loctite HY 4070 is particularly suitable for applications where temperature and moisture resistance is required, for bonding gaps up to 5 mm (0.2″). Loctite HY 4070 instant adhesive is also suitable for applications where complete curing of excess adhesive is required.
Loctite HY 4070 adhesive is the right choice when you need to fix something quickly. It can be used for the following applications in particular: direct bonding, edge bonding, bonding different material combinations, construction, interior repairs and structural bonding.
Thanks to its gel-like consistency, Loctite HY 4070 does not run off even on vertical surfaces.

The main differences between the instant adhesive Loctite 3090 and the structural adhesive Loctite HY 4070 can be found in the temperature resistance and moisture resistance.
