To find the right “CELOS Wiper” cloth, you first need to consider what you want to use the cleanroom cloth for, such as dry cleaning or wet cleaning. There is also the question of whether scratch-sensitive surfaces are to be cleaned, for example.

You should also consider what properties the wipes need to have. Do you need a cleanroom wipe that has good chemical resistance? Or do you need a cloth that emits particularly few particles? Cleanroom wipes made of polyester (PES) release the least particles. Cotton wipes, on the other hand, release the most particles. The edge cut of the wipes also influences particle emission. Completely sealed edges have the lowest particle emission, while heat-cut, laser-cut and cold-cut edges can lead to slightly higher particle emission.

The type of contamination also plays a role in selecting the right cleanroom wipe. The use of a microfiber cloth is recommended for removing particularly fine contaminants. When it comes to removing liquids, a cleanroom wipe with a cellulose content, with a nylon content or a wipe made from a double-layer polyester fabric is suitable.
