STYCAST E 151-13 is an encapsulant for motor, coil, transformer and other insulation applications. The low viscosity and excellent wetting properties allow complete impregnation of either small tightly wound coils or large castings.
STYCAST E 151-13 is a solventless, oven cured, one component epoxy encapsulant with good insulation properties, featuring permanent resiliency, excellent thermal shock and impact resistance and good long term moisture resistance and electrical properties. Unique cure characteristics permit long shelf life at room temperatures and working time at 70°C to 80°C, coupled with rapid cure at temperatures in the 95°C to 140°C range.
