The <strong>future lies in so-called green hydrogen<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is because the use of <strong>green and renewable hydrogen<\/strong> in the economy is one of five pillars for <strong>decarbonization<\/strong> as a <strong>measure against climate change<\/strong>, which could replace fossil fuels in many areas. The other four pillars are the expansion of renewable energies, direct electrification and the use of renewable heat, carbon capture and the implementation of energy efficiency measures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, <strong>handling hydrogen requires special technical challenges to be overcome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why use Loctite products for hydrogen systems?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Loctite<\/strong> has developed <strong>solutions for dealing with hydrogen<\/strong> in industry, such as <strong>adhesives<\/strong>, <strong>sealants<\/strong> and <strong>coatings<\/strong>, which will enable the hydrogen economy to grow faster. This creates a <g id=\"gid_5\">material bond between the threaded parts<\/g>, which not only prevents leaks, but also prevents the parts from loosening due to vibration, contraction or thermal expansion. It is therefore a seal and locking device in one.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to <strong>Loctite&#8217;s hydrogen-compatible thread sealants<\/strong>, <strong>more expensive and complex sealing methods such as seal welding, cone fittings and threaded fittings can be dispensed with or minimized<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hydrogen-compatible Loctite products according to AR 214 standard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the hydrogen-compatible thread sealant Loctite 638, there are <strong>other Loctite products that are suitable as thread sealants and are hydrogen-compatible<\/strong>.
