LOCTITE 542

LOCTITE 542 is used for securing and sealing pipes, fittings, and other cylindrical metal connections. The product cures in the absence of air between tightly fitting metal surfaces and prevents self-loosening and leaks caused by shock and vibration. Due to its thixotropic behavior, LOCTITE 542 reduces the migration of the liquid product after application to the part.

Ideal for fine thread connections in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and generally for small screw connections
Immediate sealing effect against low pressures
Resistant to gasoline, oil, coolant, and hydraulic fluid

- Connections are secured against vibration loads
- Only suitable for metal threads
