LOCTITE 278

This green, high-strength, medium-viscosity threadlocker prevents unwanted movement, self-loosening, leakage, and corrosion in the thread. It has high temperature resistance and cures without prior cleaning through light layers of corrosion protection oils and cutting fluids.
Choose LOCTITE 278 for joints that need to be vibration-resistant without unwanted movement, loosening, leakage, or corrosion. This green, high-strength, medium-viscosity threadlocker sets in 20 minutes on steel and brass and in 60 minutes on stainless steel. The product cures through light coatings of corrosion protection oils and cutting oils without the need to clean surfaces prior to application. It withstands high temperatures up to 200 °C (392 °F) and achieves a breakaway torque of 42 Nm on M10 screws.
