Before use, the product should be rinsed with suitable water (e.g. DI water).
The sponge is made of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) and is intentionally supplied in a wet condition. This is due to the material properties of PVA, which becomes hard when dry. Before use, the sponge must be fully saturated with water to regain its soft and elastic structure. This material is primarily used in applications requiring a high level of cleanliness, low particle generation, and excellent liquid absorption.
